About growing media
Growing media is a pad made out of natural mineral fibers, produced from melted igneous rocks (no added chemicals). It is suitable for growing MicroGreens as it is very easy to use, hygienic and it has 95% ability of moisture retention, which provides ideal conditions for the germination and growth of Micro Vegetables. This growing media is suitable for Urbanscape decorative MicroGreens tray.

Easy to use
1. Place the growth medium (mineral fibre pad) in the tray and water gently but thoroughly (app. 1L). Scatter the seeds evenly over over the surface and press them gently into the pad. Mist the seeds or carefuly water them with watering can.
2. Keep the tray on a sunny windowsill. While waiting for sprouts to appear, usually within 3 to 7 days, use the mister once or twice dailiy to keep the pad moist but not too wet.
3. After sprouting, water or mist the seeds gently according to their needs. Make sure the mineral fibre pad does not dry out. After 10 to 14 days your microgreens will be ready to eat. When you see the first pair of two ture leafs, you hravest them by cutting them with scissors just above the mineral fibre pad level.
4. When you have harvested all the greens, place a new growth medium (mineral fibre pad) in the tray and repeat the process. This will provide you with a fresh supply of vitamins all year round. Microgreens are a great addition to salads and sandwiches or served as a side dish.
